Rehearsal & Concert Schedule 2026-27
REHEARSAL DETAILS week by week
On Monday 12 October we will be rehearsing the following:
Buxtehude p.14-19
Chilcott no.2 and 3
Victoria Alleluia
REHEARSAL AIDS
Here are links to two youtube recordings, with a message from Nick:
Here is an excellent recording of the Buxtehude. It’s sung by a solo quartet rather than a large choir, so it will sound very different. We will sing with organ, flute and oboe accompaniment. Note the very clear text - helpful to hear the pronunciation. Also note the rolled Rs especially on repeated word ’Trotz’ (meaning ‘despite’).
Buxtehude - Das Neugeborne Kinderlein
O Magnum Mysterium
