Saturday 14 May 2011
2.30-5.30pm: Rehearsal in St.Bartholomew’s Church, Brighton, BN1 4GP
Choir rehearsal will be from 2.30-4.30pm
Rehearsal with orchestra and soloist may go on until 5.30pm

7.30-8.45pm: Brighton Festival Concert:
Berio: Sequenza III – solo by Lesley-Jane Rogers lasting about 8 minutes
A 5 minute break to re-order the stage
Biggin: Cry of the Earth (about an hour)

DRESS:
Orchestra – All black. Gentlemen: not Dinner Jackets, black shirt, no tie.
St.Bartholomew’s can be cold, even in May, so you may like to have a black jacket available.
Male soloists: Black jackets, black or white shirt. Can we avoid DJs and Tails?
Female soloists: something lovely – its up to you.

Parking: there is a NCP car part at the rear of St.Bartholomew’s Church. Its very near and therefore convenient. It does cost money but its not as expensive as NCPs near the sea.

There is a room at the back of the church with tea making facilities for the orchestra, where you can also change (with limited privacy).
There is at least one smaller room available to soloists and narrators.
The choir will use the hall in the school to change and congregate in.

Music stands will be provided.

INVOICES
East Sussex Music Service employees, please claim your fee on your monthly claim form.

Non-employees of East Sussex Music Service: Payments will be made by East Sussex Music Service. This requires an invoice from you. Please send this via email to: Amanda.Drakeley@eastsussex.gov.uk
Including your name and address, what service you have provided ‘Performing in Cry of the Earth at St.Bartholomew’s Church, Brighton on Saturday 14 May 2011′.
And the agreed fee.
This will either be paid by cheque, but preferaby could be done by BACS if you give your bank account number, and name, and back sort code.
Expect payment around the end of June.

Tickets are selling slowly, but fingers crossed that an audience will flood in on the night.
